Hello, Texas

Well, the touring part of our trip is over. We’ve driven just over 3,000 miles, seen 5 national parks, camped out four nights, experienced temperatures from 100 degrees down to about 35. Now we’re with Tim’s Uncle Larry & Aunt Jayme in Dallas this morning, then driving 120 miles south to Temple for a few days to make final preparations. Early next week we’ll cross the border (400 miles) and drive to Puebla (700 miles). We’re getting excited (and nervous) about the final phase of our trip. We appreciate your prayers!

    Thanks, Lanelle,

You’re our most faithful replier! We appreciate your prayers! And tell Luke that I’m wearing my Mariners’ shirt here as I type (I’ve had a few Texas fans tell me thanks for Cliff Lee!)

I’m glad you wore your Mariners shirt…I’ll tell Luke you’re still a faithful fan even in Mexico! He will be glad!

Tell him we’re keeping count of other M’s gear we see down here. Right now the count is 1 hat. Go Felix!
