Well, (big sigh!) we're on our way to Puebla, Mexico. This Sunday we were commissioned by our church, First Baptist Church of University Place. We were so thankful for so many of you that came out to share that special service with us. Even though we are saying goodbye we know that each of you dear people will be an active part of our ministry in Mexico through faithful prayers and financial support. In fact, we are hoping to see many of your smiling faces down in Puebla sometime soon! Speaking of familiar faces, Tim's dad will accompany Tim on the long road down to Puebla in our newly purchased Ford, Expedition (1997). They leave this Thursday, June 29th and hope to arrive around August 5th. On the 5th, Barbara-Lee, Drew and Tim's mom will be flying down to Puebla. We anticipate that August in Puebla will consist of settling down, growing more familiar with the city and the church, and beginning to work on our Spanish skills.

We did have a good trip to Puebla July 5-9th. We were able to go over living arrangements with the Hudsons (we'll be staying in their house initially) and meet with the church leadership team. It was a worthwhile preparation for our move.
