Well what to say. We’re here in Tacoma for Thanksgiving for the first time since before Drew was born. We’re at Opa’s and Grandma’s (Glessner) house with Jana and Josh & Laura & Sophie & Uncle Ron & Aunt Ruth. Fun!<\/p>\n
We started off with the FBUP Turkey Trot, well, Tim & Jana. It was raining so Barbara-Lee stayed in with the kids to watch the Macy’s Parade, a Kieselowsky tradition that has yet to be transfered over to our household. And now we’re over at Grandma’s and Opa’s.<\/p>\n
So we are thankful:<\/p>\n
To be here in Tacoma.
\nFor one year with all family.
\nFor two twins!
\nFor three great kids.
\nFor four grandparents who love us all.
\nFor five great years in Puebla.
\nFor six good months in the States so far.
\nFor seven years (number of perfection, as Opa points out) with Drew.
\nFor eight siblings between Barbara-Lee and me.
\nFor nine churches we’ve reported to so far.
\nFor ten years of marriage with Barbara-Lee.<\/p><\/blockquote>\nThese are all strictly family things … but how can we list everything? For Christian and Victor & Martha and Carlos & Martha and Leandro and Rosario and Pilar and Miriam and Hiram and … for our loved friends at Communidad B\u00edblica<\/em> and hermanos<\/em> and amigos<\/em> in Puebla … for the many supporters here and for those who faithfully pray for us … <\/p>\n
And thanks be to God for his gracious gifts. For his Son, for his salvation, for forgiveness of sins, for eternal life–in kind and duration. For every spiritual blessing in Christ. For peace, shalom<\/em>, reconciliation, being sons and daughters. For hope and faith and love. God is good.<\/p>\n
