We want to give you a quick update on a few of the things we mentioned for prayers. We did the Narnia outreach this past Friday and it went well. We had over 200 people there and passed out 200 brochures with Narnia trivia and a gospel message. We hope to be able to develop some contacts from this. Thank you for praying! Also, Barbara-Lee and Carol Hudson put together a Ladies Christmas Breakfast on Saturday (we got home from Narnia at 1:30 AM and Barbara-Lee was up getting ready by 6:30). She was excited, though, that our neighbor went, as well as "Vicente's" sister.

We are excited about our upcoming time at an orphanage. Our youth group has been planning a simple play and we will hand out gift bags to the 83 kids. This is a Christian orphanage, but we will present the gospel. Lord willing, this will open doors to future opportunities for service. (Update: We've waited to send this until after our time there. We had a good time with the kids, the play went well, no-one got hurt hitting the piñatas, and it was a real privilege to minister to a special group of kids. James 1:27)

One of the fun things about two & three year-olds is their unabashed enthusiasm. There is no holding back or hiding what they are excited about. Right now, Drew is on our roof excitedly giving a blow-by-blow description ("Look, an excavadora!" "They're putting the dirt in the truck!" "Woo-hoo!") of a neighbor's digging project. We'd love to draw a great spiritual analogy from that, but can only wish for you that God would look on you this Christmas and see as much (or even half as much!) enthusiasm: "God-made-flesh!" "God with us!" "Woo-hoo!"
