Well, it's after Thanksgiving, the Christmas music is officially playing in our house (here in Mexico the Christmas displays went up in stores sometime in late September), and we are so very thankful for all God is doing in our lives. Yes, Gavin & Fiona are growing and healthy (they've grown to 9 lbs and 21.5 inches). We're also thankful for Drew who celebrates his fourth birthday tomorrow (the party is actually today). We're thankful for good results from the Operacion Mateo outreach. We're thankful for new families at church. We're thankful for a very encouraging and useful meeting with our church nucleus this past Sunday. We're thankful for opportunities to share the Gospel with our neighbors. We're thankful for good neighbors! We're thankful for our moms who have each come down for extended periods to provide tremendous help with the babies. We're thankful for dads who were willing to survive without them! We're thankful for the priviledge of serving God here in Puebla. We're thankful for YOU who pray for us. And we are most thankful for Jesus Christ our Savior, "...Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." (Philipians 2:6-8)

We were able to take a few weeks off after the twins were born and then ease back into things. But now things are back in full swing, with Bible studies, and most of our regular activities. We'll highlight a couple of the more important developments. November 9-11 the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association broadcast a series of evangelistic messages and a film. Our church members invited friends and family to hear them, shared their own testimonies and invited them to accept Christ. We were delighted that a young lady, Laura, accepted Christ in our home the first night. The best thing was to involve people in the church in efforts to share with their friends and family. Another important event was a church meeting this past Sunday. Rick and Carol Hudson, our co-workers and mentors here, will be returning to the U.S. this coming March to work in EBM's office, so we, along with Christian Cruz, will be taking the primary leadership role in the church. Our earnest desire, however, is to build church members to assume responsibility and ownership of the church. So Sunday we had a meeting with key longtime church members to open communication. It went well.

This prayer letter got a bit interrupted by life in general, and we'll post it on-line, just for "historical interest". Will anyone actually read it?

Thanks if you do! Tim & Barbara-Lee
